new orage and two others

this upper left one is using something that I started by eliminating the board outline and just going with the shape of the board. so it's more gestural and less 3D... we'll see where it goes...

this one uses the new filler around the outside and we'll see where that goes... At the moment it seems like a good fill and sort of goes with the feeling of the painting.... but I need to see if it would look good with the board around it...

from red houses #1

this started after our trip to Michigan, as three out buildings, but seeing it was still summer and part of the transition from the studio on 57th st. to the new studio on 25&R, it has been kicked one to many times and hopefully will come around soon, I feel it will.

this came from those rocks that are in Duccio paintings, I can see a few more of these paintings but I may need to actually go outside to see the way the ground is moving to represent it in this way.
