drawing #3

working on drawing # 3 and things are going a little slowly because I have not had time to work... which leads to long periods of time where I don't actually work on anything and then when I get to the studio i don't really want to slow down and draw on these, I want to paint, but.. I need to figure out how these are going to work and spend some time on them and seriously consider them. Plus they don't photo very well in the studio...

this came from those rocks that are in Duccio paintings, I can see a few more of these paintings but I may need to actually go outside to see the way the ground is moving to represent it in this way.

heads and constructures

some how to me this painting is working... I'd like to be able to do many more of these but with different colors and shapes and sizes of things... maybe some day

here we are in another phase of this... it's got some more to go, I need to dig out what I want and push back the unwanted stuff, bury it and also let it shine through as residue of the experience.

this started after our trip to Michigan, as three out buildings, but seeing it was still summer and part of the transition from the studio on 57th st. to the new studio on 25&R, it has been kicked one to many times and hopefully will come around soon, I feel it will.
